About me
Fitness has always been more than exercise for me – it's about building confidence, resilience, and discovering what you're truly capable of.
I am a Certified Fitness Trainer, fully insured, and passionate about helping people of all ages and abilities improve their fitness, strength, and overall wellbeing. My specialist areas are Circuit Training and Body Pump, delivering high-energy classes that combine effective workouts with motivating music. Every soundtrack is personally mixed by me to create an atmosphere that keeps members engaged, focused, and enjoying every session.
I currently run classes at Anytime Fitness Christchurch, where I help members challenge themselves, achieve their goals, and enjoy the journey along the way.
My own fitness journey began with overcoming adversity. I was born with mild cerebral palsy and discovered the transformative power of sport through cross-country running. Through dedication and determination, I progressed to become a classified T37 athlete with England Athletics. Those experiences taught me valuable lessons about perseverance, discipline, and the importance of believing in yourself, lessons that now shape my approach as a fitness instructor.
To build on my practical experience, I studied fitness at Bournemouth University, developing a strong understanding of exercise science, training principles, and physical wellbeing. Combining professional knowledge with personal experience allows me to create classes that are both effective and inclusive.
Whether you're taking your first steps into fitness, returning after a break, or looking to push your performance to the next level, my goal is simple: to help you become stronger, healthier, and more confident than you were yesterday.
At IF, fitness is for everyone. No matter where you start, I'll help you keep moving forward.
